Instructions

  1. Prepare Pastry Shapes: Cut hearts from the full 400g puff pastry, or if cutting rectangles, use only half and save the offcuts for another recipe. You may choose any shape you like for a personalized touch.
  2. Apply Egg Wash: Brush the cut pastry shapes with a beaten egg wash to ensure a golden, glossy finish during baking.
  3. Bake Pastry: Bake the pastry shapes in a preheated oven at 200°C (390°F) for 15-20 minutes or until they turn golden brown and puff up beautifully.
