Snickers Salad is a delightful dessert-like side dish that combines the sweet flavors of vanilla pudding, whipped cream, fresh apples, Snickers bars, and a hint of caramel. It’s a perfect treat for potlucks, picnics, or any gathering.

For the Salad:

  • 3.4 ounces instant vanilla pudding mix
  • ¾ cup whole milk
  • 8 ounces Cool Whip or 1 cup heavy whipping cream, beaten to stiff peaks
  • 5 Granny Smith apples, divided (reserve 1 for garnish)
  • 5 Snickers bars, full size, divided (reserve 1 for garnish)

For Garnish:

  • 1 Granny Smith apple
  • 1 Snickers bar
  • ¼ cup caramel sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Make pudding. In a large bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and milk until smooth and creamy. Fold in the whipped topping (Cool Whip) or whipped cream.
  2. Prep apples. Core and chop all but one of the apples. Toss with lemon juice or 7-Up if making this salad in advance. Pat dry.
  3. Prep Snickers. Chop all but one Snickers bar into bite-sized pieces.
  4. Add Snickers and apples. Fold in the chopped apples and Snickers. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  5. Add caramel sauce. Just before serving, top with the remaining apple and Snickers, and drizzle with caramel sauce if desired. Enjoy!

Notes

  • You can customize this salad by adding nuts or drizzling more caramel sauce on top.
  • For a healthier version, you can use sugar-free pudding mix and light whipped cream.
  • This salad is best served chilled.
