  • 8 oz. baby bella mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 yellow onion
  • 4 Tbsp butter, divided
  • 2 Tbsp cooking oil, divided
  • 1214 oz. shaved beef steak
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • For Serving:

  • 5 hoagie rolls
  • 6 slices provolone

Instructions

  1. Prep the Vegetables: Slice the mushrooms, green bell pepper, and onion.
  2. Sauté Vegetables: Cook mushrooms, then add onions and bell pepper until softened.
  3. Cook the Steak: Brown shaved beef in skillet.
  4. Combine Ingredients: Add sautéed veggies back to skillet with steak and seasonings.
  5. Add Cheese: Top with provolone and allow to melt.
  6. Toast Rolls: Preheat oven, butter and toast hoagie rolls.
  7. Assemble: Fill rolls with steak and cheese mixture.
  8. Serve: Add favorite toppings and enjoy!
