Ingredients

Scale

Candy Corn Infusion

  • 1 cup candy corn
  • 1 cup vodka

Cocktail

  • 2 1/2 oz candy corn–infused vodka
  • 1/2 oz pineapple juice
  • 1/2 oz ginger beer
  • 3 oz tonic water
  • White cotton candy, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Infuse the Vodka with Candy Corn: Place 1 cup of candy corn into a 16 oz. mason jar and pour in 1 cup vodka. Seal the jar and shake well. Let the mixture sit for 1-2 days at room temperature, shaking occasionally, until the candy corn is fully dissolved. Some sediment may remain, which is normal. Shake the jar just before using the infused vodka to ensure flavor integration.
  2. Mix the Cocktail: Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add 2 1/2 oz candy corn–infused vodka, 1/2 oz pineapple juice, and 1/2 oz ginger beer. Shake vigorously until the drink is well chilled.
  3. Assemble and Garnish the Drink: Strain the shaken cocktail into chilled martini glasses. Top each drink with 3 oz tonic water gently to preserve carbonation. Garnish each glass with a tuft of white cotton candy just before serving to create a whimsical, melting effect. Enjoy immediately for best taste and presentation.

Notes

  • Use fresh candy corn for best infusion results; avoid stale candy.
  • If candy corn is unavailable, substitute with dissolvable candies like orange gummy bears or butterscotch hard candies.
  • White rum or silver tequila can replace vodka for a different flavor profile.
  • Orange juice can substitute pineapple juice, but adjust to taste.
  • Ginger ale or club soda with a pinch of ground ginger can replace ginger beer, though flavor will vary.
  • Tonic water is preferred for its bitter balance but soda alternatives work in a pinch.
  • Chill glasses before serving and add cotton candy garnish last to preserve fizz and presentation.
  • Strain the infused vodka carefully through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to avoid cloudiness.
  • Store infused vodka in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks; flavor improves with time.
  • Mix cocktail ingredients (except tonic water and ginger beer) up to 4 hours ahead and keep chilled.
