  • 2 packages cream cheese, softened (8 oz. each)
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 box orange jello (3 oz.)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Zest of one orange

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust: Pulse vanilla wafers in a food processor until crumbly. Add 1/2 cup sugar and melted butter, pulse to combine.
  2. Form the Crust: Press the mixture into a 9-inch springform pan, chill in the freezer for 30 minutes.
  3. Make the Filling: Beat cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until smooth. Set aside. Dissolve orange jello in boiling water.
  4. Whip Cream: In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream, vanilla, sugar, and orange zest until stiff peaks form.
  5. Combine Mixtures: Mix half of the whipped cream with orange jello and the other half with cream cheese.
  6. Assemble the Cheesecake: Alternate spreading each mixture in the pan, starting with cream cheese and ending with whipped cream.
  7. Chill: Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
