Ingredients

  • Roma Tomatoes:

  • Yellow or Sweet Onion:

    1/2 medium

  • Cilantro:

    1/4 cup, finely chopped

  • Jalapenos:

    2

  • Vinegar:

    1/4 cup (skinny)

  • Salt:

    2-3 tsp

  • Sugar:

    2 tsp

  • Minced Garlic:

    1 tsp

  • Chili Powder:

    1/4 tsp

  • Lime:

    1/4-1/2

Instructions

  1. Finely dice tomatoes & onion: Place in a medium glass mixing bowl. Add chopped cilantro.
  2. Slice jalapenos: Remove seeds and membrane. Finely dice and add to the bowl.
  3. Add vinegar, garlic, chili powder, salt, and sugar: Toss well. Adjust salt and sugar to taste.
  4. Squeeze lime over salsa: Toss to combine. Refrigerate or serve immediately with tortilla chips or Tex-Mex dishes.
