  • 1 cup peas (canned or frozen)
  • 1 cup corn (canned or frozen)
  • ½ cup carrots, diced small
  • ½ cup celery, diced small
  • 1 large potato, peeled and cubed into small pieces
  • 1 can of diced tomatoes

For the Pie:

  • 2 9-inch homemade pie crusts (or store-bought)
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F with the rack in the lower-middle position.
  2. Cook the beef: In a large skillet, cook the ground beef with onion, garlic, thyme, marjoram, salt, and pepper until meat is cooked and onion is tender.
