Penne Pasta:
- 225 grams penne pasta, uncooked
Creamy Tomato Sauce:
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 425 grams tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 120 millilitres heavy cream
- 50 grams Parmesan cheese, finely grated
- 0.5 teaspoon fine salt, or to taste
- 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
Garnish:
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
- Cook the Pasta – Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook penne pasta until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- Sauté the Garlic – Melt butter in a skillet, sauté garlic until aromatic.
- Simmer the Tomato Base – Add tomato sauce and paste to the skillet, simmer for 4-5 minutes.
