  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

For the Pasta:

  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

For the Cowboy Butter Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves

For Garnish:

  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, onion powder, and crushed red pepper flakes.
  2. Cook the Chicken: Cook seasoned chicken in butter until golden brown and cooked through. Set aside.
  3. Cook the Pasta: Boil linguine until al dente. Reserve pasta water.
  4. Make the Cowboy Butter Sauce: Sauté garlic, herbs in butter. Add chicken broth, lemon juice, simmer.
  5. Combine the Pasta and Chicken: Slice cooked chicken, toss linguine in sauce, add chicken strips.
