Apple Cider Mixture

Float Components

  • 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 2 tablespoons caramel sauce
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • Caramel drizzle (optional)

Instructions

  1. Chill the Apple Cider: Pour the apple cider into a bowl or pitcher and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to ensure the float stays cold longer.
  2. Warm and Spice the Cider: Pour the chilled cider into a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the ground cinnamon and nutmeg. Warm the cider until it is hot but not boiling to deepen the spice flavors, then remove from heat.
  3. Prepare the Glass: Drizzle 1 tablespoon of caramel sauce around the inside edges of a serving glass for decoration and added flavor.
  4. Add First Ice Cream Scoop: Place 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream into the caramel-drizzled glass carefully.
  5. Pour Warm Spiced Cider: Pour the warm, spiced apple cider gently over the ice cream in the glass.
  6. Add Second Ice Cream Scoop: Add the remaining scoop of vanilla ice cream on top, gently pressing it into the cider.
  7. Top with Caramel: Drizzle the remaining tablespoon of caramel sauce over the top of the float.
  8. Garnish and Serve: For extra indulgence, add a dollop of whipped cream and an additional caramel drizzle if desired. Serve immediately with a spoon and straw.
